document.write("720 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Opportunity Village Fundraiser “17 Annual Miss Kitty’s Jeans to Jewels” www.opportunityvillage.org Date of event September 12, 2009 Address 6828 North Rio Vista Load in: Fri., Sept. 11, 2008 Call time - 07:00 (Coffee and nosh will be provided.) We will set, run, and strike “JR Lighting” gear. Generator, power distro, high rollers/mambo combos, gel and install lights. and small audio as needed. No special tools are needed. This is an outdoor event, shorts and tee shirts are fine. No sandals or flip-flops. Focus 19:00 We will only need a few people for about 1 hour. Day of event: Sat., Sept. 12, 2009 Doors; 18:00 We will have two people running the show. This will involve turning on and off the gear. All volunteers are invited to join in the festivies. Load out: Sun., Sept. 13, 2009 Load out - 07:00 (Coffee and nosh will be provided.) We are hopeful to have 6 to 10 people show for load in. This should not take more than 4 hours. At least 6 people for load out. That should not take 3 hours. We need people who are willing to donate their time and effort. We do not need skilled people. No one need have the skill cards to volunteer for these positions. A willingness to learn new skills is all that is required. The more the merrier. You need not feel that you must be there every minute. If you can only make it for one day, that is fine. This is volunteer work. A record of your help will be kept at the hall. You need not be a member to come out and play. Any referent can and should help. This is both a chance to learn new skills and to help less fortunate people at the same time. Please do not sign up for this and then be a no show. Treat it as you would any call you would get through dispatch. Please help all you can.
